“Frantoi Aperti” is a widespread event throughout the Umbria region.
It is also an opportunity to participate in traditional music concerts in the historical squares, to let children and adults participate in popular games, to learn
discovering and recognizing the true flavor of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil “D.o.p.” Umbria and other products of the Umbrian land.
It is possible to take walks among the olive trees passing through castles, abbeys, Saint Francis’s places, farms, oil mills, ancient olive trees, attend popular re-enactments, in search of truffles.
