AGOSTO MONTEFALCHESE AND FUGA DEL BOVE

Agosto Montefalchese is one of the most successful summer events of Umbria. For two weeks each evening is enlivened by music, dance and theater performances culminating with the highlight of the event: the “Fuga del Bove”. The historical parade is the setting for the re-
enactment, a parade of about 400 figures representing the characters of the Renaissance period. Heights of its artistic and cultural splendor. In the days preceding the Fuga del Bove, there are also the performances of flag
wavers and drummers who compete to win the “Golden Falcon” and the “Crossbow Race”.
For the whole period the four historical taverns remains open for those who want to taste old dish and great wines in a typical and suggestive atmosphere.
